Quality management system
BIS is totally committed to a Quality Policy and Management System that maintains the highest levels of Client satisfaction within the scope of service provided.
In search of this goal, BIS applies a rigorous but flexible Quality Management System [QMS] across all areas of the Company which conforms to the International Standard ISO9001:2000. BIS is currently accredited by Lloyds Register Quality Assurance.
In support of the Companys QMS, the following objectives are actively promoted :-
- To provide a seamless service of a consistently high quality to Clients and to ensure that such a service meets and exceeds requirements, reliability and efficiency;
- To comply with, and where possible, seek to continuously improve upon, applicable maritime and employment legislation appertaining to Crew Management practices;
- To maintain Key Performance Indicator systems to ensure and demonstrate continued compliance with Client requirements, Company policies and procedures;
- To ensure all employees of BIS conform to the required level of quality as defined within the QMS;
- To recognise the need for continuous improvement to ensure the integrity of the QMS is maintained
